Honestly the best Sushi place i found south of Bath, it is very homie inside, very comfortable, perfect for a date, business gathering, or friends enjoying a dinner out. Service was great, fast, the food leaves you speechless. Will surely come back!

Have you ever had something SO good that it makes you consider all your life choices? Rakuzen is that something. Why am I not Japanese? :( I have eaten here atleast 40 times. It’s halal, it’s clean, it’s delicious. Not one person I hve taken here has disagreed. The kimchi beef hotpot is my FAV dish ever. The aburi spicey tuna maki comes in hot and heavy at #2 fav. The lamb Nikushichmi makes it 3rd on the list along side the Indonesian nasi goreng. Everything else is at an equal number 4. It’s honestly the most delish food I ever had (every time it’s more delish). Our total bill (for 2) is usually around the 60-70 - we used to get away with 40-50 a few years ago but I guess that’s the way this world works. Still worth every penny. Just a few of the pics I had. If you ever need a reccomendation I’d say, the above listed dishes, the tori karaage and aburi shake maki - you can’t go wrong.

Craving for malaysia food. 1st time here. Not disappointed at all. Food tastes good, staff are friendly and love this little cozy restaurant. Me and hubby have a wonderful dinner here.

If you love Japanese food, and haven't dined here yet, you MUST! Lovely and friendly staff, fast service, airy and nice atmosphere. Very very delicious sushi! I especially love the thick and many slices of sashimi!

Despite not having reservations on a bustling Friday evening, they effortlessly found a table for us, showcasing their dedication to customer satisfaction. The food at Rakuzen was a culinary delight. The menu's diversity and the quality of ingredients showcased the restaurant's commitment to providing an authentic Japanese dining experience. I am a vegetarian. This was the first time I tried Rakuzen. Although the options were limited, they offered to make other vegetarian dishes by replacing meat with tofu or vegetables. To be safe, I ordered soba noodles with vegetables. It was my first time having authentic soba noodles, and they were delicious. The fried tofu was amazing and my favorite dish out of everything I ordered. I also tried the caterpillar sushi roll, but when I asked if they could make a couple of other dishes vegetarian, I was told that the base sauce contained seafood. I really appreciate it when people are honest about the ingredients in their food. The restaurant has lovely paintings inside, and even though we went during a busy time, they were very accommodating and managed to find us a table. I will definitely go there again.

WOW! I wasn't even aware of this place and until someone recommended it to me. I booked a table here just after 'lock down' and our whole party (4) was really impressed. The people were warm, welcoming and friendly, the service was fantastic and the food was absolutely incredible. I will definitely be going back. I would highly recommend a visit.
